How sodium chloride as cation and electrolyte shapes and moulds human personality and psyche?

Everyone is well acquainted with sodium chloride, the common table salt or Natrum muriaticums. It is used routinely in all spicy preparations and vegetable foods and diets. We daily consume it in our diets and foods. No body knows how sodium chloride leaves an indelible mark and impression on metabolism and psyche of mankind. Natrum has great role in shaping the emotional aspects of one’s personality .Sodium chloride is mainly found in extra cellular fluids of our body

.It is the single mineral that is found in maximum quantity in our body. Its role as inorganic constituent of our body is not less striking. It is the main constituent of our body fluids. It is the prominent cation of our body and body fluids. Cations are electropositive in nature. The cation family of our body constitutes sodium, calcium, magnesium, potassium etc. the anion family that is electronegative constitutes chloride, phosphate, bicarbonate and sulphate.

Sodium is mainly found in extracellular and intracellular fluids of human body. Sodium is the basic and main cation of the extra cellular fluid of our body. The total sodium amounts to about 5000nml/1 of which 44% is found in intracellular fluids.

Sodium is main mineral content of body and sea. Sodium along with its equivalent anions constitutes 90% of the osmotic pressure of plasma. The change in sodium content brings changes in the osmolarity of all body fluids. The blood serum value of sodium is between 137—147nml/1 and the normal level of chloride is 95—100nml/1

The emotional journey and evolution of sodium chloride in human body is from love to grief and ultimately depression through intermediately stages of hatred, resentment, weeping, tearfulness, but never violence, anger and irritability. Sodium chloride acts profoundly on all levels of human existence namely physical level, mental level, emotional level, dynamic level etc.

Our physical existence is all matter and is composed of matter in its various forms. It needs food and diet to create energy for its smooth running, functioning, developing and evolving. Carbohydrates, fats, proteins provide the necessary and requisite fuel. Without this matter or fuel human existence can not pull for long. Sodium and water played a wonderful role in the whole evolutionary process of animal life and plant life. Life has been only possible with the formation of water on earth. Earliest forms of plant and animal life evolved in oceans and sea, the biggest source of water. Ocean has sodium chloride as its greatest mineral content even today. Sodium and water are connected irreparably with eahchother. In human body even these are inseparable. Their bonding and longing is very strong. Sodium and water in its primitive form represent two fundamental aspects of human existence and psyche. Sodium represents the solidification or materialization of human existence and emotions. It is the symbolic representation of “massing of human emotions” or more appropriately may be called “malignancy of emotions”. Water on the other side represents the fluid part of human psyche and emotions. When human emotions become fluid these trickle down in the form of tears and lachrymation, another form of water. When these fluid type and free flowing emotions of love and affection, get struck and become hardened and cancerous; than they start harming the body in various ways and means. Anger, rage, revenge fulness, hatred represent the negative side of emotions of life. These may be termed as “hard and dark” emotions of life force. We see the formation of these two stages in the psyche of sodium chloride

Sodium chloride is eternal lover yearning for love and sympathy. “Love and separation” is great theme in sodium chloride.
